In the days when people kept guns in unlocked glass cases in their homes, I used to sit and look at my father's pre model 27 with 3 1/2" barrel and even as a kid, I knew it was the most perfectly proportioned handgun there was. I just ran across a carbon copy of it at a gun show for the bargain price, to me, of $350. It was like going to your 30th class reunion and falling in love with the most beautiful girl in the school.
