Inexpensive high scope rings???

I dusted off my old Marlin "783" 22mag and trashing the old 4x kmart scope I got for it 20 years ago. This was prompted by my local gun store closing out their deerfield simmons scope at $19.99 (yup less than half the price...sorry guys only one per customer). Well I went to buy high rings and thought i could pick up an off brand...Tikka, etc. and he wanted $29.99??? I am looking for a pair of "high" rings 3/4" or preferably 1" that are good and cheep. Any sugesstions?

Try Walmart or browse through a local gun show when one comes around.

Yea...30 bucks is to cheep for any rings you want to put on any serious shooter. Like I said, it's a hand me down with a little spiffing up formy son. I found a BSA high mount and Weever see through for 10-12 bucks that will do the trick for this 22. FYI these guys have a good online supply/price:
