Darn. I have never owned a lever action rifle. I really have no idea why not, just one of those things that never has occured to me.

Maybe one day I'll pick up a Marlin or something like that. But I guess one in .45-70 might be more than my shoulder would appreciate.

These are the first I've ever owned. I've always wanted one or two but just never got around to it.

Dad had a Marlin in .45-70 when I was a teenager. I remember shooting it and thinking it was gonna kick the hell out of me. It was more of a push then the sharp crack of a magnum.

Now to find...no, MAKE the time to go shoot them!:twoguns:

Hah, finding time...... I think I missed my chance for this year. Way too many things on my plate right now already. But I would like to site those new scopes in I put on two of my .50 rifles recently. It's just that every day there is something else more pressing to do.......
