not amounting to a hoot as a manstopper. Guys were lying about the .45 Colt even before they were lying about .45 ACP ball ammo. I've shot a lot of animals with both, and neither one of them can be relied upon to stop a chuck, jackrabbit or coon with a chest hit. That's a fact, and I can prove it. No bs stories, just 5 such animals, 5 shots to the chest, and your $500 vs my $5000 that at least 2 of them run at least 30 ft before falling. YOu can have "faith" in such loads if you want. Faith is defined as "belief without REASON". :-)

You shooting some mighty tough animals. What would you suggest, a 155?

loads in a .45 ACP, or better yet, in a .460 Rowland. u even know what the Rowland cartridge IS? :-) It's not at all difficult to get 70 gr, 3 segment prefrags to 2300 fps in a 4" barreled ccw auto. Recoil is like .45 ball, and it's AP, too.
