and NB's totals 1.5 million men. There's a rifle stashed for most of them. There's only 1.5 million ACTIVE military, most of whom do NOT have a rifle. Air Force and Navy doesn't, except maybe 5% of the force. LOTS of army guys are in planes, artillery, tank, rocket, etc, no rifle in their gear. NO room or time for it.

You are very wrong about not everyone in the army having a rifle, except the plane. Not every person in the military has a rifle in a vault with his or her name on it but in theature yes they will have a rifle. Have you even been inside our vehicles, all of them have a weapons rack.

M113 2 man crew....2 weapon racks. M998 2 or 4 man crew all crew weapon rack.......m88 4 man crew all weapon racks plus places for ammo night and thremial vision hand gernades water at4 tools. Must I go on?
