and there's been OTHER "how to" silencer books, for DECADES. The "kits" available to make cans, in the 80's, probably also sold 200,000 or so. So if you "think" that a LOT of cans won't be part of shtf, you are dead wrong.

Never said they wouldn't... but I'm honestly not to worried about the multitude of hack job second rate POS cans of the kind you push being out there. I have more realistic concerns.

So what? A lot of crap gets bought by teenagers from SOF, Paladin, etc, so they can pretend to know what they're bragging about to try and keep from getting beaten up like you did in high school. Doesn't mean any of the gimmick crap they buy is worth a sh!t.

Hi Hinzey, the fed gov requires a $200 tax stamp and background investigation before you can legally own a silencer. Andy, the guy selling the silencer book is in federal prison now because of illegal possession of firearms and homebuilt silencers. His plans weren't very much good either. A good 308 suppressor of professional design will cost a minimum of $800 and up. Your Savage will work just fine without a blob of metal hanging off the front end.

THIS is why we Adore Rika..Beautiful, AND practical.

That said..while there are times that a supressor (Legal of course) CAN damp out some vibrations, if you arent shooting out past 600 meters on a regular basis, the resonance of the barrel probably wont make that much difference for you to notice.
