sight, eventually. doesn't take many rds of .45 ball to shoot loose the (merely "peened-on" front sight of Gold cup. Silver soldering one back on the GC not only requires reblueing of the slide, it also has the potential of causing malfunctions, because it can scale or change the dimensions inside the slide. It's been known to cause the barrel to be "drug forward" by the slide (or barrel bushing) which of course causes failures to feed.

OR you can use a TMAW. I've never seen anything other than minor surface oxidation from a TMAW, and that can be easily brushed off. You can also use Loctite or JB Weld. Personally, I think you should stick to using Elmers, you might damage your water pistol.:D :cool:
