Silly boy. If you are using the proper kind of sling, just let go of it and it will swing safely out of the say so you can draw your sidearm.

Stupekid has never been to an advanced shotgun course where transitioning to pistols from longarms are taught. 3 seconds is SLOW. And we do retain the shotgun (or rifle) without throwing down ANYTHING.

What you THINK we are talking about, stupid, is dropping the rifle, drawing and hitting ONE guy, ONCE, at 5 yds. Just because you can't READ, stupid, doesn't make what I said inaccurate. It's just proof that you can't READ.

Since you're ONLY talking about ONE target, you could always put the chambered .308 through him.

And if you're REALLY in a combat situation, you will be carrying the rifle properly. Unless you're someone who skipped the last 3 decades of tactics and doesn't even know how to use a sling. . .
