While I agree that the military could help guard our borders, its not going to happen in today's PC world. As for your constant attacks on Garand, it can be only that you fear and envy him. Who SHOULD be guarding the borders, if we're going to go military with it, is the National Guard. They should be called up on a rotating basis by their state's governors. That's what the National Guard if FOR.

And I agree we should bring all our guys home. The @ssholes we're using them to protect, including the Europeans and South Koreans don't want us there, so give 'em what they want.

The news media just had a story about Coors and Molson. They are going to merge. It will make them the fifth largest brewer in the world.

You don't want to drink Budweiser though. the Budweiser product was just tested by the Environmental Protection Agency, and they found out that the Clydesdales all had diabetes. True story -- :laugh01:

You don't know what you are talking about when it comes to beers made in the USA. You probably are familiar with butwiper, and spoors beers, and maybe chiller or feingold, but what about the finer American beers such as Anchor Steam, Ommegang, Henepin, Pete's Wicked Ale and on an on they go? You think these are week, I invite you to come a share a few with me any time you are in my neck of the woods. Just a for instance - Ommegang is 8%. Just a bit stronger and it would be a wine not an ale. Try one sometime, then after that have a second, then tell me how you feel.

During my years in the Canadian Army , I had the opportunity to visit many states and I can honestly say that I never seen an american beer at 8%. Is that something that the hillbillies in the mountains produce? A good beer up here is 7%, for the girlie-men we produce a 5.5% beer, anything less is for those people that swing in the opposite direction. :p :p :p

A lot of our good beers here are made by microbreweries and you won't find them in most grocery stores and not all liquor stores either. We used to have one calle "Red Wolf" that was 7%, but I guess the Budswillers couldn't handle it and it didn't sell well enough to stock it I guess.

I just spring for the Guiness Extra Stout (not the draught crap, too watered down), heck, I'm part Irish, I don't mind supporting them :D
