I REALLY want to go there this fall. Never been, and have been dying to go. There is a reptile show I usually attend the same weekend, but I am thinking seriously of giving the nod to Knob Creek instead this year.

Is it worth going to? Anything there that is a "must see" or a "must do"? Anything I need to know about beforehand?

Yeah, I'm a Knob Creek virgin.........

I've never gone, a few people I know personally have gone though.

Take enough money for all the goodies for sale is the best advice from what I've heard.

I've been itching to go, but I've never had the time or the $$$$$ to go. :bawling: Maybe next year??

Go, it's worth it. The show isn't as good as it used to be because the way things have tightened up down there but it's still a great time. I'll probably be there in the spring since the fall creek is conflicting with something else I have going on.

Actually both shows there conflict with something I do. But the Fall show is a bit more optional than the Spring show for me. I think I remember someone saying that the weather is generally better in Kentucky in the Fall than in the Spring anyway. Spring is supposed to generally be rather wet?

Oh well, we'll see. The logical side of me has pushed me the way I SHOULD go, rather than how I WANT to go before, so no telling.....

Need advice from Knob Creek veterans.

I noticed that the gun show itself takes place Friday thru Sunday. Since most gun shows I go to are Saturday and Sunday only, does Friday normally have a decent turnout of vendors there?

It looks like there is some sort of restriction about shooting 50 caliber and bigger stuff at the lower range, but no word is made about when anything will be shot at the "upper" range. Any ideas on this? I'd REALLY like to see the big stuff fired if I am going all the way up to Kentucky.

I can probably only get up there for one day, maybe two if I really stretch it. So would Friday and Saturday be best, or Saturday and Sunday?
