1911 are related to the barrel link. The 5 pc set of links, from Wilson, let you use the process of elimination to get that issue removed, if you are having failurse to feed. The 1911 barrel should not MOVE from its position at the frame's feed ramp, when the slide goes forward, until the breechface contacts the barrel hood. Most 1911 barrels DO so move, and it's usually because of either an improperly fit barrel bushing, or a too long barrel link.
