1911, and many guys use less than ball power reloads for such .45 practice. That is silly, if expect to give same performance, under match stress. Some even then carry a lw Commander .45, with hot loads. Now THAT'S a difference, wussy-to medim .45 ammo, in a 40 oz pc, vs hot loads in a 28 oz pc.

The diff in price between 9 and .45 ammo quickly pays for the $150 or so loss you might take, if you HAD to sell the 9mm lwc. Best INCLUDE the value of your time, NOT BOTHERING to pick up your 9mm brass, clean it, etc. :-)

You need to strengthen your wrists gk. I shoot full power 45acp loads in my LW Commander with complete control. Please don't act as if we share your own shooting deficiencies.

I don't have a problem shooting my LW commander .45 why would I have problems shooting a 9mm version?
