Don't know whether they will get out safely or not but will send prayers. One thing I'm betting on is that Russia will come down on the other potential terrorists in their country in the harshest manner and with no regard for political correctness.

A couple dozen terrorists took about 400+ people hostage at a school in North Ossetia in Russia this morning, so far, the fatality report is about 7 dead.

Right now it is largely a Russian issue, but the Chechen rebels (terrorists) are muslim extremists.

Finally heard a two-second mention of it on the noon news, with no details. I've heard the radio news several times today, with no mention of it at all before noon.

Maybe too much coverage of a "terrorists in a school" scenario would serve as an object lesson that the media doesn't want brought up.

No, more than likely, anything that reminds Americans that the threat of terrorism is real, makes Bush look good and Kerry look bad. Bush looks stronger on terrorism than Kerry in the polls.

The liberal media will try to avoid anything that might strengthen Bush's standings and hurt Kerry.

But, maybe I give the press too much credit.

Don't know if y'all saw it or not, but the Russians stormed the school.
They said "most" of the students are alright.
Looks like the camel-fvckers had the kids stripped down to their skivies. Most of the kids they showed on the news were in nothing but undershorts, most of the girls had tops too, but not all.
Looks like the bastards get to go talk to allah about it.

Just got an update said some of the kids were injured to one degree or another, no accurate count yet. Much of which was due to a bomb set off in the gym.
