I keep hearing about a US Supreme Court decision that the police are not required to protect us. I cant seem to find it. Does anyone here know what case that was and, possibly, provide the transcript?

No, I don't know where the case was adjudicated. However, the LAPD, was sued under those conditions and that was what the decision was.

I read that in the Los Angeles Times. Doing a search there might turn up the article about it.
