I usually pick up a 550 round box of Remington Golden Bullets when my wife drags me to the fairly distant Wa-Mart in our area. While loading a magazine for my Bersa M23 , I notced that one round had the case peeled back so that the rear of the bullet was exposed. I pulled the bullet with a pliers, emptied the powder and popped the primer with a screwdriver and hammer and mailed it back to Remingon with a letter of explanation. In a week I had a letter of apology plus a check for $17.00 to cover the cost of a new box of ammunition plus my mailing fees. They are one fine company. :-punch: :-punch:

Yeah, I agree. I have had a few instances of problems with new Remington rifles I have purchased, but they never quibble a bit about fixing the problems. They will send a UPS pickup tag and pay shipping both ways.
That's what customer service should be all about.
They'd BETTER, and they know it.

Remington isn’t my favorite brand of ammo, but I’ve never had any real problems with it, and I do shoot a bunch of it, simply because their ammo factory is just 6 or 7 miles from my house, and I get good pricing on some of their stuff thru a dept purchase program.
For .22’s, I generally get the Federal for bulk pack and the Remington for subsonics.
