:-) $2000 just to defend YOUR life, for the pocket gun that's 10x as likely to be needed and helpful as all your longarms put together? Nah.

Skill with the weapon and good HP ammo overcomes any shortcomings of the Makarov or Rossi snub. You don't think much of your life if you put all your faith in some miracle cartridge. Skill, the gun, the ammo and your mindset all work together to keep you alive.

You had better listen to RIKA TARD, her advice has always been more knowledgable than yours.

By the way, nice to see y making fairly straight forward posts. No insults, no epithets, no trash, just a difference of opinion.

Keep up the good work! You'll make Ol' Rich proud. It's nice how you follow his instructions ... !

nor really straightforward. They are still random blather.

Tard needs to keep still when his betters are speaking.

I wouldn't put .38 Rossi's in the same category. Makarov's are much more solid and carry more ammuntion. The Rossi's I have encountered all had timing problems. Yet to see a bad Makarov. With 115 Grain HP's you can definetly get someones attention. I can afford any handgun I want, I CHOOSE a Makarov for a back up. It alway's makes a loud noise when I jerk the trigger.
