cut its barrel to 4", to help me conceal it, had a broken return spring, had to use trigger finger to flick the trigger forward again after each shot. Spit lead pretty badly, got a new cylinder for it, did no better. :-) Made a Woodruff half moon key slot in the barrel, made a front sight, epoxied and vise-pressed it into place, held while I ground and filed it into shape, straightness and correct height. :-)

I took a lot of game with that IJ, just because I carried it a lot, and hunted a lot. Later, got a Savage M101 Single Shot, that looked like a Ruger Bearcat, much more accurate. It could reliably hit starlings at 25 Paces, weaver.
