We were discussing this in depth today at work as it relates to our job in someways and the general thought is that the insurgents(read as terrorists) are having an even harder time BS'ing the ignorant and uneducated. They are getting desperate for "volunteers".

I heard an account where they had threatened a remote village that if they voted, the terrorists would come back and make them pay.

The villagers voted anyway.

The terrorists came back, but the villagers were waiting for them and killed 5 terrorists before the rest ran away.

Terrorists used a disabled child as a suicide bomber on election day, Iraqi interior minister Falah al-Naqib said today.

Says a govt official. We ALL believe the govt, dont we? If it is in print, it MUST be true, RIGHT?

Police at the scene of one the Baghdad blasts said the bomber appeared to have Down's syndrome.

How can they make that conclusion, when the body is in pieces? Are cops doctors? Can they make diagnoses?
