While were all out testing buckshot spreads, anyone up for a little slug shooting? This is a two-part challenge :)
Range: 25 yards
Projectile: Any shotty slug from 12 ga to .410 (rifled, smooth, AND sabot)
Weapon: a shotgun, if your using a rifled choke, smoothbore, or fully rifled, say so.
Sights: Iron, hi viz, or bead
Stance: Standing Unsupported
Target: PART A; any 25 yard handgun target or clone
PART B; a "Know your Limits" Target, first dot 3", 2nd dot 2" 3rd dot 1" fourth dot 1/2" and 5th dot 1/4 inch, horizontal largest on left smallest on right.
Length of challenge: 30 days.
For Part A, smallest group wins.
For part B, each dot is worth 10 points with a maximum total possible score of 50. You must engage targets in order from 3" to 2" and so on. If you miss a target your score is zero, however, you can stop anytime and keep the score you have hit. For example, one could Hit dots 1 2 3 and 4, but decide that he didnt want to risk a 0 score by attempting number 5; his score would be a 40/50.
Good Luck :)
