My mom is going through a bunch of pics when I was a kid and just e-mailed me this one.

1991, I had just turned 18 and still had hair. Was training with my mom's boyfriend's brother in Bonsall, CA. Her BF was an ex-Golden Gloves champ of Chicago, I think in 70s and his brother here is 21 and was into an early form of mixed martial arts. Needless to say, I was taught an important lesson this day.

I was impressed with the Corrado, had a silver one just like it! Makes for a quick trip to the ER if needed...

LOL yep, I was a goofball for sure, I still am now :).

I think he was just being an asshole telling me not to let my guard down even when we're practicing. But I guess that's the right way to learn.

Regarding throwing the shoulder? I don't know... that's just one of a billion reasons why I stopped. Even the belt is tied all messed up...

I swear, next time I see that guy,it's ON :D
