There are a number of reasons which counted as incentives to write this poll. I am new to this site and am interested in many of the interactions and perspectives I see. In addition, there have been a number of changes in my own life in the course of this past year: school, children leaving home, relationships beginning and ending, that contribute to pondering the whys and wherefores of human interaction.

I try to be friendly and helpful to everyone I meet but I live by the golden rule....

Be friendly and courteous to everyone but have a plan to kill them just in case. :dgrin:

Just as long as you don't confuse the order of things....

Everyone gets a chance, some even get a second chance.

I expect the best, but am not surprised by the worst from people.

We evolved as pack animals. Once you understand that, you understand many things. All mammals, however, have the residual "lizard brain". You can see the latter at work in the posts of the pos's here every day. ditto the "pack-attack" mentality. Too bad they don't dare try it for REAL. I'd enjoy that very much indeed.
