I'm not the best at this, but I'd say 600 nitro express or that T-rex gun?

He's a puss. In Arkansas, we hunt things like that with a knife. :dgrin:

That was actually pretty cool. After the ego stroking cowboy panorama, anyway. I like the concept; dangerous game has never seemed all that dangerous to me, at least not when its in the sights.

I think a little part of me died, the first time I went moose hunting. Died, and was devoured by the little bastards.
NOTICE he takes ALL head shots? :-)

my goodness... that guy must have planets for balls
nah, he's just fairly confident in his ability to pull head shots.
those types of animals only hit 25-30 mph in a charge, 40-50 fps. So you've got a second in which to try twice at the head, inside horseshoe pitch or bowling alley ranges. Not that tough, as long as the brush isnt too thick and its' daylight. Lion charges, in thick grass, can be many times more dangerous, but a body hit is more likely to have effect on a 300 lb animal than a 1500+ lb one, too.

Gret big polished shiny brass balls.
The ripped jeans seem out of place w/the $10K rifle though.:santa:
I've stopped charging dogs with a single head shot each, with a .22 pistol. :-) 40 mph, and very small target. Once, I had a .22 short in the chamber of a llama .22 auto, and I was prone under a barn, with a wounded dog crawling up at my face. My coat back was caught on a nail, I managed to hit her above one eye at a distance of about 1 ft from the muzzle. I was 17. That was a bit close.

Yeah,not a lot of difference between a nyati @ 5m & a farm dog @ 1 foot.

Yeah, but it adds style.
I wonder if I could piss a moose off enough to get it to do that.

I doubt if you could get a moose to wear ripped jeans no matter how mad you got it. . .:dgrin:

same difference as a pistol and a rifle, or an experienced man and a 17 year old kid.
