Yup the first amendment is still there. I'm glad that i defended it and I love it just as much as the next person. But it just seems like this guy is taking it too far.

As a disabled vet myself I count on a "perk" every month from the government to help keep food on my table and a car running for the family. Being disabled, I'm only allowed to work so many hours a week and I'm only allowed to do certain things while working. Not to mention the past few months I have to drive 200 miles one way to get surgery done on my back and hip at a VA hospital. Gas is not cheap and my car needs to be in very good working order to keep making this large number of trips. That really kills my monthly take home, I'm lucky if I make it to the bank with 700 to 800 a month. Thats less than 10 grand a year, so needless to say I really count on that monthly "perk" that I know I earned to help keep my head above water so to speak.
