View Full Version : OK, lets try this again....
I tried to get something going earlier, but it just died on the vine, maybe because I didnt know what I was doing.
I am not sure just how these postal matches work, never done it. But dammit, I feel like shooting and competing, even if it doesn't mean anything.
I'll be home in a couple weeks, with an itchy trigger finger!
Any ideas?

Mabye something with a pistol. I can use the Kimber
Pistol is good :uzi:
Your Kimber will probably kick my a$$ though, until I find out what ammo my para-ordnance likes.
Surely there are people here that like to shoot? Sometimes? Just a little?

How about who can print the tightest double tap and one to the head on a sillhouette target at say 5 yards?
Do it five times and measure ggroup size on the chest and then measure size on head. Two different numerical results to post.
Ammo shouldnt be too much of a factor there. Are you talking 2 double taps, 1 double to the body, 1 double to the head? If so, you're on! I get home on the 12th. Will post results shortly after.

1 double tap to the chest, 1 single shot to the head. The grouping results are the groups that are acheived after 5 cycles of this. So there should be 10 bullets in the chest and 5 in the head.

Does the total time for the three shots matter?

Just be realistic about it. Go at a comfortable, but still relatively rapid pace. I have more of an intention of just having fun with this one, showing off the scores, and getting the "Postal" board into action. We can be plenty serious next match :dgrin:
Times would be cool to add though, if you were so inclined.

I'm in.
Going to shoot an IDPA match tomorrow. Will shoot it after the match.
How 'bout posting pics of the target, instead of just measuring groups ?
I will post my times as well.

I might be interested if I can find a place to do the 5yd thing in time.
The more the merrier!
Just keep in mind I cant shoot for 2 weeks. Not that it will matter, too many good shooters here, but I'll post my score/target pix.
