Ive heard good things about the old Tasco Super Snipers. Supposadly the new ones are ****, but the old ones are good. I havent had experience with either; just word of mouth.

What is your budget? What do you expect out of the scope and what kind of gun is it going to be put on? Answer those questions first for an appropriate answer...

Hmmm.... I'd go with a Simmons or a Burris 3x9 or 3.5x10. Should run less than $200 and will fulfill your needs quite nicely.

I have a Stith-Kollmorgen 4X scope on my (pre-'64) M70. It's the same scope used by USMC snipers in the 60's. It is a great piece of glass. Saw a mint one on EBAY the other day go for about $50+.
