Found one at a local shop in just about mint condition for 200 bucks.

Good price? Bad price? Just right?

I'm thinking about picking it up......Lord knows the wife has been on a spending spree.

I think that $200 for a mint Yugo is a good deal.

For MINT condition? That's about right. Not a good deal, not a bad deal. If you want it, you might as well get it. Mint Mausers are getting scarce and they'll only go up in price.

A MINT Mauser?
Is it one of those Mitchell's Mausers Mausers?
I'd snap it up, getting hard to find a MINT Mauser these days. Soon we'll be left with nothing but Russian Captures and bottom-of-barrel rotten-stock weapons to choose from.

If it's really MINT, that's not a bad price, at all. I've bought six of them and my best "very good" one was $129.00. Funny thing is, one I bought for $89.95 shot the best out of the box even though it looked rough. No sight cover, sling, and had pretty large wood "repair" in front of the receiver. It shoots 1 1/2 " 100 yard groups while my "very good" (and prettier) one get's only 3" groups with the same ammunition. The "beater: shoots right on the money, while my other's shoot about 4 inches high at 100 yards. I quit trying to figure it out. I just remember which shoot where. I'm keeping three, and giving/selling the other three.

Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "mint". The gun has been around for awhile! I guess it would be more like "cherry". lol All the blueing is there, no scratches or gouges in the wood......all the accessories. Hell man, it's "cherry"!

I don't need it, but for some reason I really want it.

Thanks for the responses guys.
