A 1944 No.4 Mk1 , took it out the day I picked it up and what a machine !.
Charged , cycled and fired as smooth as any rifle I've been behind . Surprizing accuracy , I let loose with some UMC 174gr hp's , offhand at 50 and 100yd ...I nailed that pieplate every shot ...it's a keeper fersure.

What a beauty. Looks absolutely flawless.

Mine met bubba, before she met me. :(

My 1st Enfield met up with bubba too. It's a '43 Longbranch which I started useing for deer hunting in '72

But I couldn't let him get away with it and restocked it.
It's still my main deer rifle and it always gets the oogle eye on the range . I call this my LBLE combo... ready for anything
