Alright, I did go pretty much crazy when I got my C&R license, buying everything in sight. So I decided to sell a couple of gun's before I re-did my insurance. I put a Yugoslavian M48A and a Yugoslavian SKS out there. I still have the SKS, but the Mauser hit the paper on Thursday, and I had five calls by Friday (today). Somebody likes those POS. Got my price too, no haggling.

Obviously nobody wanted to trade a wheelbarrow for one. :D Yes, the nice ones are highly desirable.

I was in the gun shop today. Mausers have gotten damn expensive, as in $200 for a GOOD condition Yugo (i.e. crappy wood, maybe 80% blue, ok bore).

Terry I take it you were unimpressed with the M48?

No, I was very impressed. It's a great rifle, with really cheap ammunition to shoot out of it. I wouldn't hesitate in a minute to use it for hunting or if need be, a fight. But do I need SIX of them? My lust overcame my brain.

Sounds like women.
They're hot and having six of them at once sounds like a good idea until you've seen what they've done to your bank account. . .

SIX WOMEN???? I can barely handle one. Rifles shut up and lay there in the gun safe, my lady is smarter than me and let's me know it from time to time. She couldn't care less about the gun's, motorcycles, and boats that I buy, or the Canada trips I take. BUT, I forgot her birthday ONCE, Holy Christ on a crutch, you would have thought I bombed Hiroshima.Never let that happen again.By the way she buy's me a gun every Christmas, no junk, Colt's Glock's, Brownings, etc. I think I'll keep her. (She make's a lot of money too.)

Ask BigJon about this, he would know. We were at an outdoor show and women were constantly calling him. We're talking about airline stewardesses, nurses,...in other words, seriously good looking women.

Arline "stewardesses"? Rolin! Please! "Flight attendants!" "Stewardess" is no longer politically correct (and I know how important a concern that is to you!) :headbang:

Only one lady in my life these days, Rolin. Have known her for, oh, 25 years or so. She divorced a year or two before I did. After mine, we ran back into each other, and things are going very well. Interesting thing - have never had a relationship this ... well ... symbiotic? I am pretty sure it will work out - hope so, because it's what I've been looking for my whole life. We both want it to. The only thing holding us up is distance - we live 90 miles away. I think that all we have to overcome is logisitcs, and we're workin' on it.

Best,
Jon
