Yeah, im new here. just wanted to introduce myself. I admit Ive been lurking around before i posted to gain some insight on the forums and I like what i see, the whole sites very informative and also its interesting on what everybody has to say. Anyway, i hope to have more to say in the future.

PS- who is Gun Kid? and what is his story? I get the picture he is not well liked around here.

Gunkid posts as the user "andy" here for the time being. Once you see his posting style, you will recognize it in other names he posted under in the past. He has posted on a lot of firearms forums and people consider him controversial for many reasons, so he doesn't last very long in those places.

(I wanted to add that, ironically, a person who used to be a forum member here registered under the actual name "gunkid" and made a half-attempt to emulate "andy's" style. That was not him, nor his wife as a different poster alluded to in his brief time posting. If you use the advanced search, you can find all posts done by a particular user)

If you really want to know about John Melvin Davis, ask that question in the Rubber Room. I'm sure someone has a synopsis prepared that they'll post for you. :)

I don't believe he is well liked much of anywhere except in his own mind. I'd suggest verifying the legality and safety of any of his recommendations that you might happen to read.
