Here in Sedona we just had a fairly large and devestaing fire, the Brin's fire. So named, as are all fires out here for the area it started in, Brin's Mesa. A nice area in a nice locale. About 1200 acres, we could see the smoke from the house the first day. Started due to careless "Happy Campers", transients that left thier campfire burning while they walked into town for more Patchulli oil. :headbang: Here is a pic from the afternoon of the second day:

ps, everything is ok for us.
Hate the fire but the scenery is beautiful.

R, Thanks, it's nice enough.;) The prominent one in sillouette to the left is called Coffeepot Rock, for obvious reasons. 10 min. walk from me. Then there's this one currently in Calif., w/me hoping I don't complain too much:

thanks for the 'pic', it's been a couple of years since I've tooled 89A/oak-creek canyon, it's probablly changed/grown in sedona, take no offense on this BRO! but IT always struck me as a 'artsy-fartsy' little-burg.
