Good deal ! Hundred bucks for a rifle now a days is rare. I was just looking at a chinese sks on gunnrunners auction site. I haven't saw to many Norinco's around lately. This chinese sks just sold for $150 and I thought that was pretty decent price.$100 bucks was a steal.. http://www.gunrunnerauctions.com/thumbs/846177682.jpg

Good buy! A Chinese gun anything (except spike bayonets) is hard to find and can sometimes draw a premium price. I saw a Norinco folding stock AK-47 (nice & clean) selling for $799.95. Norincos are pretty rare in the used gun mkt. They also made AKs, US Govt. 1911 .45 copies, M14 copies and now, of course, M16 copies. That is, their US Govt. mandated semi-auto versions. I have a friend that has a Chinese "fixed" 20 rd. magazine for the SKS. The only thing better is to find the rare Norinco SKS that uses AK-47 magazines. They made them and some were imported in the BC period. (that is BC for "Before Clinton") But they're hard to find and usually$$$ when you do.
I laid my Yugo SKS beside my friend's Chinese SKS and the quality of the Yugo just jumped right out at you. The Chinese was very poorly made compared to the Yugo. And so was the Romanian AK I compared the Yugo to when I bought it. The Romanian (once called the "WASR 10") was trash compared to the Chinese, but they were gored out to accept 30 rd. mags (quite roughly) and the rivets beat so hard as to bend in the inner and outer metal of the receiver!
