Between 12/21 through12/22 most all of colorado got pretty well slammed by snow and wind. I live in the eastern plains it was pretty much a white out, 45 mph winds, how much snow is hard to tell, but the drifts are anywhere up to 6 ft. It took me two days to dig the 150 yards of my drive way out. I heard denver got between two and three feet.

Three feet standing, with up to six foot drifts in Broomfield, which is part of the Denver Metro area. My truck was completely drifted over, it looked like a truck shaped pile of snow. My daughter is loving it of course. Who needs PT when you've got a five year old dragging you through every drift in the neighborhood? I did get a good reminder of being prepared when I went to the grocery store (pork roast was on sale) after I dug out, as every jug and carton of milk, every package of eggs, and all the ground meat was sold out. I keep at least a month's worth of dry and canned goods in the basement, so no worries for me. Just goes to show how unprepared the average citizen really is.
