Hello, all. I'm new to the board. I found this particular board while searching for accounts of large calibre suppression (.50BMG suppressor/suppressed pulled up nothing, but I found it under .50BMG silencer... I was horrified.), as I've been doing what I usually done- research!
I love learning about ballistics and suppression, as well as other firearms-related sciences. Just reading about the practicality, ingenuity, and general usefulness of any firearm, modification, or ammunition also thrills me. (worldguns.ru is one of my favorite sites)
I'm not quite yet a fully fledged firearms-owner (I have "inherited" my father's .22 LR/WMRF HR 676, and his Slide Action Savage Model 25 .22lr, which is an antique; Legally they're my mother's, but she considers them to be mine.), but as soon as I'm out of college, I plan to stir some more life into this fire of mine. (or rather, as soon as I'm not broke...)
