Thats one good looking H & R - Garand you have there John. Looks like a winner. Did you buy it from the CMP or private?

I bought it from a gent at a small gunshow! He was just walking around the show with it. It is all correct except for the safety, it has an SA-11 safety!

I bought it last weekend and will not shoot it, I have plenty of shooters..

I can understand that. I have a couple Garands myself I don't get out and shoot much or as much as I would like to.The rifle on the left is a Winchester late type 2 and the right one is a Springfield. Both are 44's. Anyway John,welcome to the board..
