Here is serial number 810 that was in the first shipment to the Navy in 1912. It was assigned to the USS DELAWARE and in 1937 it was sent to the USCG Station on Cape Cod..
Neat, huh?

Naw, I have plenty of shooters around the house, like these 2 de-enhanced SW1911s. I prefer the original M1911 A1 configuration...

Hey john....You still in possession of the Ralph Rohatch super. 38 ? I didn't relize we had such an expert on the 1911... It be neat if you could track down Rohatch's Ranger badge.

I have been in contact with his son in St. Petersburg, and he has his father's badge and other artifacts.
Here is the Colt as I display it.

How much did Colt rape you for the letter?
John Holbrook

$100.00 and worth every penny. Anytime I acquire a pre-war Super .38, I get a letter. Many were carried by law enforcement officers at all levels.

I'll keep that in mind if I ever come in possession of a pre-war super 38. Quik question! Do you know of a source for the General Shaver mags?
