Hey guys ,
This was my older brothers' (departed) weapon.
He named me executor in his will . I need to put a fair value on this for probate
reasons even if I decide to keep it.

S&W model 59
4" barrel
Does the Engraving detract from the value?
The gun shows little wear on its finish , can you tell from the photos what type of finish this is? it seems polished.

bewteen 250 and 280 dollars. depending on it's condition.

$200-$250, pretty rough. If I saw this at a gun show I'd probably "pass". Too many on the market for this to be considered a "collectible". I have several pristine versions in my collection because it was one of the first semi-autos ordered by cops.
