I just joined this forum. I am also a member of Gunboards.com. I'm a retired Army officer and currently living in Atlanta. My interests these days lean toward the older military rifles and handguns, particularly Webleys. I was once a member of "The High Road" forum, but I left that one because a moderator had a problem with reading comprehension, and I'm just impatient with that kind of thing. I am definitely not a "hellraiser," though I have have very definite opinions about most things. I also belong to a chivalric organization, the Sovereign Military Order of Christian Knights Templar, which works to alleviate the persecution of Christians living in the Islamic and Communist countries.
I don't have a big ego to feed and I believe that if you cannot get your point across without using profanity or demeaning terms, you need to work on your communications skills. I believe that intelligent, rational people should be able to discuss virtually any subject in intelligent and rational terms.
