Welcome aboard! Did you go to the gunshow in Lakeland this past weekend? The wife and I had planned on it, but things got out of control around here and we never got out the door. We'll try to get to that HUGE one they have in January down there.

Anyway, make yourself at home.

Rich Z,

Yep, I went to the Lakeland show. The wife and I spent the whole day there, (my third show I've gone to there, seems like you need both days to see all the stuff). Is the one in Orlando bigger or the same venue?

Thanks in advance.

Did they have both rooms full at Lakeland? Normally only the January show has the two rooms going, from the times I have been there.

Orlando is usually smaller, but I have tended to always find something to buy in the Orlando show. Not always so with Lakeland, for some reason.

I wound up going to the Tallahassee show that weekend, and came out of it empty handed. I think many of the bigger dealers might have been down in Lakeland instead.

mazak, hope you weren't part of the recent flooding there in Mo.

Rich Z, Yes both side were full. Some good deals for sure.

Damn! Wish I had gone... Was planning on leaving here Friday, but I had a delivery get all screwed up and wound up having to wait around for it. It was perishable goods, so I had no choice in the matter. There was an antique glassware show in Sanford that Connie wanted to go to. Crappy weather set in later on in the afternoon, and appeared like it was going to continue through the weekend, so we just scrapped out plans completely.

Oh well. There will be another time.

Thanks for the welcome guys, (and gals). :wavey:
Fastly approaching 50, result of a failed divorce I am. And never really had much of a chance to learn a lot about firearms growin' up, (besides the navy ones I qualified for, many years ago).
I'm here to learn, hope the many questions aint' too much/too quick.
