Here is my latest acquisition. Made in 1943 and possibly saw action in Bastogne or Remagen.

Naw. I got it from a friend that wanted my Turk 8MM Mauser. Good trade Huh? When I got it I was scared to touch it cause I was scared to get splinters in my hand. Now its a smooth as a babies butt.

A LOT of work went into the stock. You should see the other stock that I bought for it so I wouldnt have to mess up the original stock. I had a no tap no drill scope mount for it and I needed to shave out some of the interior stock to get it to fit. That one was like glass. I am hoping to get either a Maple or Myrtle wood stock for this one. I understand DGR Gun works has them for a decent price.
