Brunton Scopes

Does anyone have any experience with Brunton scopes? I was told they would hold up to a Barrett M99 .50 caliber. They have a lifetime warranty so even if they didn't I could always send them back but I would like to avoid the hassle if I could. I am looking at their Echo 6-24x50 Fast Focus Rifle Scope with a Glass etched Mil-Dot reticle in particular. The price is pretty cheap so that kind of makes me suspicious. The old saying goes you get what you pay for.
