What kind of base does it have? Actually though, hose clamps would make you part of the family in some parts of the US. :D

I echo the "welcome to the family" sentiment. That sure is a pretty picture of my cousin Jeb's rifle, though. He'd be happy to know his baby girl(Charlene) is famous...if only he knew how to work a cum-poot-terr. :crazy1: That's not the worst one I've seen, though. Try a rifle mounted to the stock with zip-ties and electrical tape.

i saw one that the guy lost the screws so he epoxied it down, with like 24 hour glue, it was a mess. i guess the barreled action wouldn't fall out of the stock though.

Dumbest thing I've seen was a guy who lost the screw that holds a Ruger SA ejector rod housing on. He used epoxy to fix it. Looked horrible.

I swear to Christ, I had a friend who used J.B. Weld and hose clamps just like that to mount a scope on his "deer rifle" 91/30 with a cut down stock painted up in the nicest camo pattern Crylon could produce.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::-punch:

FAIL!
