Turk mauser i picked up for a project rifle for the winter and never did anything with it . Its been sitting out in the garage collecting dirt. Reciever ring is dated 1946.

You could re-barrel it and turn it into a sporter. Now ... what kind of car is it sitting on? Sports car?

If the barrel is bad I'd make it into a "Twede" if you can still get surplus Swede '96 barrels at a decent price.

I thought about using a M48 rifle instead but i think the turk rifle's look more the part. Something more like a WWI German Gew98 .
