Does anyone know how reliable this optic is?
I have found them for as low as $399 and cant really find any reviews on clarity? reliable ? And any other general comments.
Here is the gun I want to put it on (Sorry would have posted pics of my rifle but I dont have any save on this comp at this time)

With this scope I could put high mounts to ensure that the fixed front sight does not interfere with the sight picture. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated but keep in mind I am on a budget and really dont want to spend over $600 and want something with more than just a red dot.
Thanks for your 2 cents.

Generally speaking, I would want to know where they were made. If they are Chinese or Russian (or derivatives), I would pass on them.

Thanks Mag, yeah that was the thing I knew that on the website they were based in MO but that did not state where the scope itself was manufactured (the list price on countersniper.com is over a grand), I also found on Midways reviews of it that some of the ones they purchase were not even marked as counter sniper scope and stamped made in China. For that price I would rather just save up and by a Leupold or an ACOG, that way in not spending an extra 400 on a piece of junk. Thanks again looks like I might just be shooting iron sights until my next paycheck.

Now that is what I call using your head, patience is a vertue, a trait many have lost. Good for you, cause I'd hate to see anyone waste there money especially on things with the stamp of China on it.
for what its worth, i just got one of these in 6-25x56, the optics are clear, it is ffp. the eye relief is short on the one that i have if you arent careful it will wallop you. i have done a lot of research on them, and people have either loved them or hated them. the customer service is good, quality control stinks, the one that i have is 1/8 moa. people have had problems with them having dirt on the glass and the cross hairs, ghosting when they illuminated reticle is on. if a person can get through all the marketing scams i think that they are an alright scope so far, i just mounted mine on a 300wsm and it only has ten rounds underneath of it. but the glass is good, the turret locks are hefty. and from everything that i have seen and all the pictures that i have looked at, body wise they do look a lot like a vector/AIM scope. but there are more internal adjustments in the counter sniper scopes. the chinese ones dont have turret locks, and the pictures that i have seen of them, they dont look to be 56mm objectives. the scope that i have has 75 moa elevation and 75 moa windage. i was pretty skeptical at first but i think that i will keep mine and see how it plays out. the structure on them is very heavy. of the nightforces, burris, i have looked through they are more clear than a burris and about as clear as a nightforce, not as clear as a zeiss or swarvoski, and diffenetly more clear than my leupold. hope this helps someone, and if you want more info from someone that has used them, you can go to snipershide.com and just search "counter" and you can come up with a couple people that have used them a lot more than i have.
i have one of these in 6-25-56 and i can see a .308 hole at 600 yds. it is on a rifle with a little recoil and seems to hold zero. i did a tracking test at 300 yds, and it was true. the turrets are very beefy, beefier (god forbide i say this) than Nightforce, and the scope is more sturdier feeling than one too. i think that if i had the money i would still buy the nightforce, just because NO ONE has had a problem with them that i have heard about.
