I am currently in Germany with the US Army and recently had to return to Washington state to attend my father's memorial service. Tho he was not active due to medical reasons, he had a small gun collection that I have inherited. The Winchester Model 94's (calibers 30-30 and 32 Winchester Special) I know a little about, however, I need help with identifying the other 3 and getting a general idea of the value. I do not have any pictures and will provide all the information I could locate on the rifles.

1) Savage Model 110 30-06 Springfield (sn F248862) with a side mounted Armsport 4x32 scope.

2) Springfield Armory Model 1896 (sn 56792) with side mounted LM Dicksry 2.5x32 scope. My father always referred to this one as the "30 40 Krag".

3) The only identification on the last rifle is: E1911, Brescia, 1912. These are stamped on three smooth spots on end of the barrel near the chamber. Dad always referred to this one as the "6.5 Italian".

Any information or web links for research would be greatly appreciated.

The Savage 110 is still in production and isn't all that expensive. I think I paid around $400 about 8 years ago. The scope might make the combo worth more.

I don't know about the others.

The KRag is probably worth some money, they've been getting expensive lately. Do a search for "Krag-Jorgenson" on Gunbroker, or Auctionarms, and you'll get an idea of what the prices run for them.. GOOD Rifle BTW.

The Last one sounds like a Carcano (Think JFK Rifle). Not really worth much of anything unless it's in super-nice condition.

The Winchesters value depends heavily on the date of manufacture. try this

Unfortunatly the Krag has been altered by the addition of a scope and mount. This will detract a good bit of the value. Without pictures it would be hard to determine what else had been done to it. :shrugs:
