Just a little braggin'. I just won an 8 day sportfishing trip to Ontario, Canada.
This July my father and I will be headed to a remote spot near Ear Falls, ON to fish for Pike, Walleye, Muskie, Bass..and maybe some Lake Trout.

I'm not much of a fisherman so this is all new ground for me...which makes it all the more exciting. It's definitely the trip of a lifetime so far.

The icing on the cake is that being the editor of my publication I've been able to get some really great gear for the trip free from various manufactures.

I've even got a guy lined up to do a fiberglass or graphite trophy replica of whatever monster I manage to catch. That alone is going to save me about 400-800 bucks depending on how great the trophy is.

So, it's really coming together well and is turning out to be a huge blessing. I just felt like I had to share and brag a little. After the trip actually happens I'll post some pictures.

Where near Ear Falls are you going? Lac Seul/ (Lake of the Souls) or a fly in to an outpost? Give me a PM and I'll give you some tip's. I go there with my Son every year.

Drinking a lot of Labatt's will put you flat on your posterior. The fishing is out of this world! I spend $2,000.00 every year, and it's money well spent!

Thinking about making a side trip to Polar Bear Provincial Park while I'm up there. Kind of expensive with the fly-in costs, etc. I just wanted to check and see if anyone had ever been there or knew anyone who had visited.
