beaten up, just to have some fun? even if YOU are willing to do so, every kid and woman that MIGHT like to shoot a bit, and thus, be brought into the "progun" votiing block, is NOT inclined to take a beating, in order to bust up some targets. So a gas op 20 ga is a very nice option. If it has a 3" chamber (in at least one of its barrels) it has all the reach and power needed for ducks and geese, too. All you have to do is know how to call and use camo, blinds, decoys, etc, and get them in about 5 lousy yards closer than you'd have to do if you had a 3" 12 ga.

Lets see, the Americans used a shotgun in every conflict that they fought in in the 20th century, plus Iraq, the canadian army uses them in Afganistan as a patrol weapon for the infantry, the British used them in Malaysia. Maybe gunkid, needs to read more history books?
