at 7 yds, you should be able to react, draw from a speed rig and get the gun at eye level, both hands properly positioned, in .70 second. Learning to do that will put you a mile ahead of guys who are "looking for the front sight" (which shaves off just .10-20" second. What I'm teaching you is shaving off another .30 second and can mean your life when it's for real, not just a match score. Brian won't allow discussion of tactics or anything real world on his forum. if you can't get .70 second from a speed rig, htf do you expect to crack 1.0 second from concealment? and that's what you need when it's for real. When it's for blood, the guy is already making his move, (or you can't legally draw on him). So you're already behind the 8 ball and every 1/4 second slower you are (than need be) is another shot, stab, slash or clubbing that you allow EACH enemy to do vs you, with each hand. So go ahead, BE a full second slower than need be, dummy.
