regular old 1911. Dean Grinnel and Mason Williams were homeswaging the jhp's, and wrote up this load in their Law Enforcement Handgun Digest. in the late 1970's, Mas Ayoob wrote about using 10 grs Unique to get a 140 gr .45 swc (200 gr mold, using pewter) to 1400 fps, in a regular 1911.
