At the last gunshow I went to I looked at the Taurus Raging Hornet (?) in .17 HMR, and wondered about the power loss of the shorter handgun barrel. Probably just as well I didn't buy it, because I understand the gun manufacturers are coming out with a shortened .17 rimfire that will be better suited to a handgun.
