223 barrel. If you get 2600 fps, that's 900 ft lbs. That load still has 1800+ fps left at 200 m, so it will still expand the sp. At 1800 fps, it still has 420 ft lbs, so at 200m it still hits like a 357 Snubby does at 10 ft. Or to put it in rifle terms, it hits as "hard" at 250m as a 22 mag rimfire rifle does at 5m or as "hard" as the 25-20 does at the muzzle, or the 32-20 rifle does at 50m, or the 30 Carbine does at 100m.

I'd ask you to provide your test data that shows that the 60gr bullet you are talking about will still expand at 1800fps but I know you can't because you don't have any.

Now let us talk about your 27gr AA2520= 2550-2600fps in a 10" barrel

Here on 08-05-2004 at 10:15 PM you wrote:
Pull the bullets from Win White box 55 gr ball.Put in 27grs of AA2520,seat a 60 gr Nosler partition on it, fire thru a decent 11" barrel, and look at what's displayed on the screen,in warm weather, it will say 2800+ fps.

Are we to believe that you get an extra 250+FPS from 1 extra inch of barrel or do we believe that you are lying?

the barrel length tests done here http://www.accuratereloading.com/223sb.html (Credit to DJetAce for posting the link on 08-05-2004) show that the average velocity difference between a 10 and 11" barrel length using 14 different loads is 63fps with extremes of 27 and 122fps. Sure blows your 250+fps all to hell.

If you can't make up your mind I'll add that on 07-22-2003 you wrote:
27.5 grs AA2520= 60grs, 2800 fps, 11" barrel 223.
Your claimed charge of AA2520 even changes.

Even if your figures are correct you would still have an inaccurate, unrekiable ballistically inefficent weapon.

No proof, eh gunkid? Another fantacy load for a fantacy gun, right? I've already posted my sources for proof the 10" CAR is a POS junkero. You can go ahead and keep posting your dream, but it's only a dream.

Hey dipstick, you forget 1 very important thing, Hard Ball has experience in combat with an M1 Carbine. like it or not! While gunkid has thousands of hours of fantasy with a 10" CAR! In a life threatening event, will you rely on experience, or will you rely on fantasy?
